TCL – Superior RMS – Audio Thermo-Compressor
The TCL is a unique analog thermo audio compressor featuring a superior natural RMS detector and dynamic voice bass enhancement control. In another KV2 first its patented design offers an exceptionally musical and natural compression that is a component part of its real-time input, rather than a typical side fed gain reduction circuit attempting to either follow or anticipate compression demands. Its additional Bass balance control circuit allows the user to smooth out and minimise any proximity effects from a changing microphone position, giving the perfect voice color to every performance, from beginning to end. Featuring source intelligent attack and release times, whatever the dynamic content, with just a few simple steps the results from the 500 Series TCL are truly exceptional.
Applications
- Designed as ultimate compression tool for various studio and live applications with instruments and voice.
- Perfectly suits Musical theatre – giving consistency, richness and depth to head worn microphones.
- Ideal for corporate presentations – giving a full, warm, full voice timbre and allowing tone matching for lecturn and lavalier microphones.
- It can be used live on many musical instruments, both classical and contemporary.

QD8 – Stereo 8-band Master Equaliser with Line Driver
A revolutionary George Krampera 8-band Equaliser specifically designed to highlight a desired band without adversely affecting the overall sonic landscape. Whilst not intended for tuning out room modes, the frequency bands and filter types have been precisely chosen after extensive research, to perfectly align with the science of human hearing and our perception of achieving the ultimate spectral balance. In a Live scenario, faced with a number of different sources, program types, or performance genres at a festival or concert, the equaliser is very musical, intuitive and an exceptionally quick way to shape any mixed content to the sound you want to hear. In the studio, it can be either the simple enhancement of an instrument / vocal track, or the final mastering polish to take an ordinary mix and make it something very special.
Applications
- For use in Recording Studios as a master equaliser, single instrument, or group equaliser.
- Front of House PA system master equaliser, the unit is also equipped with line drivers designed to maintain audio signal integrity over long cable lengths (up to 200 m).
- Single stereo zone or dual mono system equaliser, to sonically match different fill speakers and zones with the main FOH PA when used in multiples.
- To reduce the harshness in some digital recordings, particularly around the 6kHz region.

LD4 – Line Driver, 4 Channel
The VHD LD4 is a four channel line driver designed to maintain audio signal integrity over long cable lengths. As cable lengths between mixers and amplifiers increase, the length of the cable creates a high capacitance load that many mixers have difficulty in driving. The LD4 eliminates standing waves and signal impurities resulting in the delivery of a high quality audio signal no matter what the cable length. The VHD LD4 was built as a part of KV2 Audio’s VHD product philosophy focused on delivering very high definition audio. Each channel features an individual transformer based power supply with insulated grounding. Circuitry is designed to provide excellent resolution of signal with very high dynamic content as found in live sound applications.
Applications
Specifically designed as part of the VHD system to preserve and maintain signal integrity between mixer and amplifier devices over long distances
- Live music and performance
- Fixed installations
- Can be used with any Audio system for improved results

SD8 – Stage Driver, 8 Channel
The VHD SD8 is an eight-channel stage preamp designed with individual line drivers that maintain audio signal integrity over long cable lengths. As cable lengths increase, the length of the cable creates a high capacitance load that most microphones have difficulty in driving. The SD8 features eight independent mic inputs with gain control adjustment, -20 dB pad and 48V phantom power. Each input has two outputs allowing signal routing to two separate locations such as front of house and monitoring consoles. A five bar LED display provides signal level information and a rotary knob provides 0db to +30 dB of gain control.
Applications
Specifically designed as part of the VHD system as a multi-channel stage preamplifier Line driver to maintain signal integrity between the stage Microphone instrument inputs and mixer over long distances
- Live music and performance
- Fixed installations

SAC2 – Super Analog Controller – 2 channel
The ultimate advantage of using the SAC2 anywhere within the signal chain is the immediate improvement in definition, resolution and dynamic range. A musical four-band equaliser, allows for quickly shaping the sound, exactly as required without affecting the overall linear response. The two notch filters per output offer immediate control of dominant room resonances. The fixed crossover filter points of either 70Hz or 120Hz can be independently switched for Hi and Low outputs allowing either a standard 2 X 2 way configuration or an overlap to be created. Alternatively the crossovers can be bypassed allowing simple 2 in 4 out program control. The transparent limiter feature can be used to maintain level without affecting the quality or dynamic performance of the system. A security cover is also available for fixed installations.
